Here’s how you can make this miraculous Chocolate Orange Marmalade Brownie Pie at home:

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour and 20 minutes, plus refrigerator time

  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust (homemade or storebought)
  • 2 tsp orange marmalade
  • Filling:
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 5 ounces (2/3 cup) evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon orange marmalade, plus for topping
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream

Preheat the oven to 375F. Press pie crust into 9in pie pan. Use your fingers to press the dough into the bottom and sides of the pan – if pie crust is wider than 1 inch wide, then trim. Crimp or finish the dough rim as desired. Brush bottom of crust with 2 tsp orange marmalade and set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, sugar, and cornstarch then set aside. In another bowl, whisk eggs until frothy. Add butter, milk, marmalade, and vanilla. Pour into dry ingredients and whisk until fully mixed.

Pour the mixture into the pie shell. Bake for 55-65 minutes, a crust should form on the top of the pie. The middle should still be jiggly. Cool completely then refrigerate until chilled, about 4 hours. Before serving, dollop cream on the pie edge close to the crust. Drizzle each dollop with orange marmalade.

Happy baking!
